The experience
This is a full, easygoing day on the water along St. Maarten's Dutch coast. Sail out on a roomy catamaran, then drop anchor in a sheltered bay where you can snorkel, try a paddle board, or drift on a floating mat with a drink from the floating bar.
Lunch is a Caribbean-style barbecue served at anchor: chicken, ribs, rice and salads, with snacks through the day. After lunch there is plenty of time to float and relax before a scenic cruise past Maho Beach to watch planes come in, then one last swim before heading back.
Itinerary
- Coastal cruise: sail the Dutch side with music and an open bar
- Snorkel stop: a calm, sheltered bay
- Lunch at anchor: BBQ lunch and float time
- Maho Beach: scenic cruise-by for plane-spotting
- Final swim: one more dip before the sail home
The captain adjusts the route to the day's conditions.
